Need to move your workstation easily from place to place? Every Workplace platform—standard, heavy-duty, motorized, or cabinet—can become a mobile workstation. Mobile workstations let you move the bench to the task—wherever you need it, whenever you need it.
Even if you already have a stationary workstation, they can be upgraded in the field using our mobile retrofit kits.
Configuring Mobile does require a different style leg and the correct caster for the application.
Mobile leg sections are constructed of 2″ square 18 gauge furniture-grade tubing and a channel caster base. Includes provisions to mount an under table shelf or lower swaybar for added stability. Workstation height may be adjusted in 1-1/2″ increments.

Cabinet Workstations deliver maximum value and utility in an attractive package featuring generous storage.
Configuring your cabinet workstation to be mobile requires the incorporation of a mobile base. Standard cabinet configuration are dropped into the base and secured on all sides for maximum stability. Casters can be selected based on the application requirements.
Depending on the storage requirements of your application, single, double, and even triple-cabinet mobile units can be designed with the flexible Mobile Cabinets and framework.

5″ Standard Caster
- Standard caster supplied with all Mobile Workstations unless otherwise specified.
- “Total Lock” fully lockable caster.

5″ Heavy Duty Caster
- Extra wide wheel design.
- “Total Lock” fully lockable caster.
- Weight capacity: 500 lbs per caster.
3″ Standard Caster
- 3″ diameter side lock caster.
- Lowers worksurface by 2″ compared to standard 5″ caster.
- Available for both fixed-height and adjustable height workstations.
- Weight capacity: 250 lbs per caster.
Standard Leveling Caster
- Hand-or tool-adjustable leveling.
- Provides low profile clearance (approximately 1/2″) when caster is retracted.
- Lowers worksurface by 2″ compared to standard 5″ caster.
- Available for both fixed-height and adjustable height workstations.
- Working load rating: 550 lbs per caster.
Mobile Retrofit Kit
Installation of a Mobile Retrofit Kit requires removal of existing leg extenders; insertion of new caster plate assemblies; and installation of casters as well as a swaybar for Standard Workstations.
- May be retrofitted on site to all stationary Standard and Heavy Duty Workstations unless otherwise specified.
- Retrofit kit accepts all standard casters.
- Will affect Stationary Workstation work height depending on caster selected.
- Work height range based on use of existing 30″/37″ WH Leg Sections will be:
— With 3″ Casters: 33.25″/ 40.75″
— With 5″ Casters: 35.5″/43″

6″ Pneumatic Caster
- 6″ pneumatic caster allows workstation travel over uneven surfaces.
- Raises worksurface by 1″ compared to to standard 5″ caster.
- Stem mounting.
- Requires reinforced leg extender.
High Clearance Leveling Caster
- Tool-adjustable leveling.
- Requires specialized leg insert to accommodate leveling stem.
- Provides higher clearance (approximately 1 1/2″) when caster is retracted.
- Lowers worksurface by 2″ compared to standard 5″ caster.
- Working load rating: 550 lbs per caster.
5″ ESD Caster
- “Total Lock” fully lockable caster.
- Weight Capacity: 250 lbs per caster.
- Meets Federal Specification FF-C-88C.
- Requires an average electrical resistance less than 250,000 ohms.
